Me and my wife went here for our anniversary last night and it was so good! I had heard good things but was blown away. Our server Jenna was so great and super helpful, our food came out hot and everything we tried was delicious (personally I recommend the lobster elote and their enchilada trio), and we just liked the overall feel of the restaurant. We definitely want to come back!

The service alone is 5 stars! The valet parking is great considering you'd be circling the block for hours if this wasn't complimentary to you. The host stand is welcoming and the entire atmosphere of the restaurant is romantic, dark tones, and beautiful decor. I was most impressed by the service. Our water cup was never halfway empty. We could take two sips and the wait staff was already by our side filling it up. The food was phenomenal! We started with the chicharon de ribeye which came on fresh made guac and it was to die for! The corn tortillas tasted homemade and probably one of the best I've had! All of the salsas to start we're tasty and I love that they describe each one and by spice level so it wouldn't be a surprise when our face started melting off. Jk! None were that unbearable but one of two packed a punch! I can't remember which drinks I had tried but I wasn't too impressed with the combo of ingredients but likely that's my fault since it had cucumber and I'm not too crazy about cucumbers. I would stick to a classic margarita on the rocks here. When a restaurant is THIS good, it holds the standards for a what a classic margarita should taste like. The filet was especially tender and flavorful! This is a must try if visiting or if you live in Dallas. Perfect date night, business dinner with colleagues, girls night out, mama day break, first meal after buying a house... Doesn't matter. This is the restaurant to be at!!!!

Perfect service and the most delicious food. We tried a bit of everything. Loved the decor

The Mexican is one of my favs in Dallas The food never disappoints Customer service is 10/10 Valet parking Great for date night and birthdays

Food was good, but not remarkable. Very similar to something that I could get at home in Southern California. Some items were already gluten free and they were able to modify others. Really enjoyed the drinks, especially the hibiscus one. Fun vibe. Fantastic service.

I've been wanting to come here for ages, and we finally made it in last night . The aesthetic and ambiance is beautiful - perfect for a date night. The food was delicious, but our service was subpar. As far as food goes, we started with the wagyu ribeye and the ahi Mexicano - both were absolutely delicious . And let's not forget about the chips and salsa they start you off with ( so good ) . For main courses, my fiance got the crab enchiladas with truffle fries on the side and I got the enchiladas Del Mar trio - absolutely delicious. In terms of service, we didn't actually meet our waiter until right before our appetizers were served to us. Other waiters were helping him out in the meantime, but at one point, I literally had to ask a random waiter to find ours. He was very apologetic, but it was frustrating to see every other table around us have far more attentive service. Crazy to imagine it was only a Wednesday night . How do they handle busier nights ? Overall, worth checking out ! Just wish we had better experience with service .

Okay- they are so accommodating. Our babysitter no showed on us and they immediately were able to accommodate us bringing two kids with us. All the staff was friendly, kind and patient with us. They probably don't get many kids coming in cause it took a while from them to find the high chair in their storage. The kids LOVED the lobster enchiladas and the ahi tuna cold appetizer with mango. The drinks were very nicely made. We also finished the cuatros leches cake in like 15 seconds. And really had to fight not to order another one. We should have. Btw- ambiance was great. I wish we didn't have to take the kids. The indoor area was so well done and created a romantic feel.

My first time trying The Mexican for a birthday dinner, and I must say it is quite tasty. Unfortunately, I cannot recall our server's name, but he was on top of it! He handled our party of eight with ease. Here are my ratings: * Crispy Pork Belly - 8/10 These were a hit around the table, so maybe 10/10 for them * Tostaditas - 7/10 * Lobster Elote - 10/10 * 10 oz Filet Mignon - 9/10 I was really impressed with the flavor it had * Langosta Enchiladas - 10/10 * King Crab Enchiladas - 10/10 * Camarones Enchiladas - 7/10 The sauce was a little bland to me compared to the others * Del Mar Enchilada Trio - 10/10 * Jumbo Asparagus - 7/10 Overall, everyone enjoyed their plates. There were a few gripes about the portions, though, and I would have to agree that they were a bit small for $46 Enchiladas. However, on the flavor side, they knocked it out of the park! Also, we had a reservation but still waited about 25 mins before being seated; I wasn't a big fan of that. The hostess, server, and valet were all great, though. Overall, I would come back, but not if you're starving lol.

Bit the bullet and decided to come back and celebrate our anniversary, and we were pleasantly surprised and loved everything! Here's some highlights: Chicharrón de Pulpo: 9/10 Something about the combination of crispy octopus in a warm, soft, homemade tortilla lead our dinner to a strong start! Del Mar Enchilada Trio: 10/10 Our server recommended this dish and I'm glad she did because i couldn't make a decision on the menu. The plate included 3 enchiladas each picked with shrimp, king crab, and lobster. They were all packed with flavor and I couldn't choose a favorite. (not pictured) Campechana: 10/10 I wanted to try this dessert the last time I visited but they were out of it. I'm soo glad I finally got to try it! It's essentially eating a sweet flaky pastry with ice cream sandwiched between with pistachios and cajeta. Probably my favorite of the night. Did I mention it was huuuge?! Can definitely be split between 4 ppl. Awesome service as usual, I wish i remembered my server's name so i can give her a shout out. We discovered that they have a cigar lounge which is invite/members only but the manager was kind enough to offer us a tour! Special thank you to Jennifer for the amazing hospitality. The staff and food were wonderful.
